Josh Doubles up at Dinner & Dance

Josh Theo scooped two awards at Friday's End of Season Dinner & Dance and Presentation Evening held at Plymouth Albion. The Rhymney product picked up the much-coveted Players Player and Coaches Player of The Year Awards selected by Howell Phillips and Mark Shepherd. The well-attended event was widely regarded as the best organised for years with live music once again provided by the excellent Sunset.

Geoff Kelly picked up most improved player, Andy Jones the Effort Award, Mark Handley the Captains Trophy whilst Dave Parmenter received the Clubman Of The Year. Other awards included Abbie Orton (Jenny Daniels Award) and Guy Whelton (Teddy Thrower); there was a bouquet of flowers for outgoing treasurer Gerry Barnes and physio Abbie Orton. There was a good spread of players past and present and it was a great honour for Bill Hitchins to present The Captains Award.
