ARGAUM slipped up in the race for the play-offs at lowly Dartmouth on a day when if anything could go wrong, it did.

Captain Josh Pheophinides got his marching orders for a second yellow card after getting involved in some afters with an opponent right under the referee's nose.

To make matters worse, Argaum started the match with an understrength front-row because of player unavailability.

Coach Mark Shepherd said: "It was a weird game. We dominated the first 20 minutes, but then for some reason, we played scrappily and let them in."

Argaum scraped the point which keeps them in second place thanks to tries from Chris Hamer and Jack Usher. Hamer kicked the rest of the points.
