A windy Saturday on Bickleigh Down and the next opponents for Argaum were OPM Jesters, the Mannamead club's second string.
Dave Sansom rang the changes from last week as he had no less than 10 players unavailable from those that were involved last week.
Argaum started the scoreboard moving on ten minutes when an OPM offence gifted Paul Ansell 3 points in what went on to be a perfect kicking performance from the man stepping inside to play fly-half. A try from Jared Williams before half time saw the Chiefs go in 17-0 up.
The Jesters played with the wind after the break and utilised their kicking options well from their back line. This meant for much of the half, the Chiefs had to soak up the pressure and battle their way up the field.
It wasn't until 60 minutes when Williams outstripped his opposite outside centre to race sixty meters to touch down under the posts.
Jake Turfrey added a fourth try in the dying minutes after a short period of forward pressure in the Jesters' 22, with Ansell converting again.
this books a quarter final spot in the Lockie Cup, but first, the Chiefs must turn their attention to the Visit of Plym Vic next Saturday.
