Cats The Way To Do It!

In a largely forward orientated first half Argaum began piling the points on early with Luke Kenny touching down after 4 mins to score his 3rd try in 2 league games. More were to follow from Mason Edwards and Jared Williams collecting another typically well weighted kick from fly half Tom Richards. Much to the deafening, cardiac arresting roars from coach Dave Sansom. Capitan Karl Sullivan provided consistent support play which earned him a try just before half time also.

In the second half Argaum began to play more of the rugby we are used to. Expansive, fast and notably more effective. A minor cat-astrophe early on as the referee cat-egorically decided to sin bin Jake Turfrey, deeming him as the cat-alyst in a small fray that sprung up near the wing. Regardless, he was to return and bag himself a brace of tries along with Ieuan Evans, the pair finishing off some stylish moves as they nearly always do. Daniel James also showed that he is more than a massive nose and a pretty face, dancing over for a try and Capitan Karl scored a second. One that might take the edge off a comically bad piece of decision making to pick and go with a 5 man overlap.

All in all, a successful day out, minus a small amount of white line fever, every player proving his worth and the team collectively exploring much of the work we have done in training over the recent week. Two completely juxtaposing halves culminated in an largely positive performance that will surely do nothing but enhance the growing reputation of the club.

With a win for the seconds against the Plymouth University Titans, the Argaum roll on in high spirits towards their next fixtures.
