Kicking off slightly earlier than the Chiefs' game, the Wanderers opened their Devon Merit Table account with a hard fought win.
Daniel Evans returned to pull the strings at fly half, whilst Argaum old-boy Darren Wills returned to the centres after a sabbatical in the pack.
A physical game saw Saracens go in up at half time. It took a while for Argaum to get a game pattern flowing, but started to compete before the turnaround.
With Dan Sargent jumping effectively in tje lineout and Viktor Kurowski adding power to the scrum, the set piece belonged to the Wanderers in the second half.
Good work from Evans saw Wills go over for his second try of the season, which Seargent converted.
A nervous last few moments saw an Argaum penalty reversed in kicking territory. Thankfully, the kick sailed wide and the final whistle went.
