Richard Belli23 Jun - 16:00

Saturday saw the annual Dinner & Dance take place at The Copthorne hotel

The night was about celebrating the effort, recognising achievement, thanking those who make this club what it is, and looking forward with excitement to next season.
- Wayne Liddle, Plymouth Argaum Chairman

It was our End of Season Dinner and Dance on Saturday, congratulations to all of our Award winners. Here are a few words from our Chairman, Wayne Liddle:

"On Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting our End of Season Awards Dinner for Plymouth Argaum RFC. That night is about recognising more than results. It’s about commitment, effort, friendships and everything that makes Plymouth Argaum special.

To our players across every team thank you. You’ve represented this club with pride, whether winning big, battling through tough afternoons, training in the rain, or turning up week after week because of what this badge means.

To the Chiefs, congratulations on a season that showed real character. Strong performances, some outstanding rugby, and a top-half finish built on resilience and teamwork.

To our Tigresses, thank you for your determination and spirit. Seasons are never measured only by scorelines; they’re measured by growth, commitment and belief, and you finished with a result that showed exactly what this group is capable of.

The evening was also an opportunity to recognise someone whose contribution deserves special mention.
After four years with the club, Dean Avery is stepping down as coach. Dean, thank you for everything you’ve given to Plymouth Argaum. Coaching is far more than what happens on a matchday. It’s the hours of preparation, the conversations, the encouragement, the standards you set and the belief you build in people. Over the last four years you’ve invested your time, energy and passion into this club and into the players who have worn the shirt. You’ve helped create memories, developed individuals and played a huge part in where we are today. On behalf of everyone at Plymouth Argaum players, committee, volunteers and supporters thank you.

To our coaches, volunteers, medics, sponsors, parents, supporters and everyone behind the scenes, clubs like ours don’t exist without you. The night was about celebrating the effort, recognising achievement, thanking those who make this club what it is, and looking forward with excitement to next season."
