Veteran Prop, Nick Hancock, Shortlisted for Amateur Player of the Year.

the best club player, who has performed brilliantly, led his team to league or cup victory, scored a vast number of tries/points or in some other way deserves recognition

On Thursday, a contingent from Plymouth Argaum will be accompanying club Chairman and 1st XV prop Nick Hancock at the National Rugby Awards!

Held at Twickenham and in it's second year, the event, Supported by Chris Robshaw is designed to recognise those at the Grass Roots level, as well as thever professional game.

Argaum were shortlisted last year for 'Community Club of the Year', losing out to Crediton RFC, whilst Dave Sansom saw Paul Tarpley of Old Northamptonians beat him to 'Coach of the Year'.

This year, Hancock is nominated for "the best club player, who has performed brilliantly, led his team to league or cup victory, scored a vast number of tries/points or in some other way deserves recognition."

The other nominees in this category are; Christian Baines – Old Grovians RFC, James Dyson – Scunthorpe RFC, George Sparks – Weston Super Mare RFC, Bryan Croke – Wimbledon RFC and Tom Parker – East Grinstead RFC.

Other notable attendees are Simon Banks of Exeter Chiefs' (Youth) and Plymstock's Nigel Higginson, how are both shortlisted for 'Rugby Club Volunteer of the Year'.
