Plymouth Argaum maintained their unbeaten league run in 2026 with a 31-10 victory over local rivals Tamar Saracens. Sarries had won the reverse fixture at The Parkway earlier in the season and the home side was determined to even up the score in this Valentine's Day encounter. This they did with a controlled performance in muddy conditions at Bickleigh Down, with dominance up front a key to victory. The Chiefs probably felt the benefit of last week's testing cup encounter against Wells whereas their opponents were a bit rusty after a few weeks off. First half tries came from Dean Avery, Dan Smith and Jake Turfrey with Cheyenne Edwards bagging two conversions. In the second period, Edwards got a try of his own whilst Jake Turfrey added a second, with Edwards adding the extras. Argaum now have a week off to recharge the batteries.
