Argaum host Wells this weekend in the National Mens Counties 3 Championship Cup with a place in the quarter final at stake. This was a match that was postponed from last Saturday due to the continuous deluge that fell on most of Devon. Thankfully, a pitch inspection on Friday afternoon with groundsman and referee has given the green light for this much anticipated match to go ahead.

Wells are having an impressive season, unbeaten in the Counties 3 Somerset division, and sit in second place but with games in hand over the league leaders Tor. They have conceded a miserly 73 points in the 11 matches they have played whilst racking up 376 points. However Argaum, who sit third in Counties 3 Devon have an impressive home record with just one loss in the league, to Old Techs, just before Christmas. On their last couple of outings The Chiefs have shown great character to come from behind to beat Salcombe away and the league leaders Brixham II at home. Brixham arrived at Bickleigh Down with an even more impressive record than Wells so Argaum wont be overawed. The Somerset visitors are bringing a coachload of supporters with them and with the pitch side tuckshop open and England v Wales on in the clubhouse afterwards, a large crowd is anticipated.
Argaum players and supporters are requested to park in the lane down from the clubhouse to allow the Wells coach to park in the clubhouse car park.
